The Widget Mines is a fictional location featured in the Masters of the Universe multimedia franchise. It first appeared in the twelfth episode of season one of the 1983 animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe titled "Evil-Lyn's Plot".

History

The Widget Mines ran beneath the Widget Fortress in the Widget Woods on the planet Eternia. It was maintained by the gnome-like race known as Widgets, who mined the precious mineral Coridite. Skeletor and the Evil Warriors attempted to raid the Widget Fortress to gain access to the mines, but were repulsed by He-Man. Later, Evil-Lyn used her sorcery to trick the Widgets into giving her access to the Coridite, but she was ultimately defeated. ^[1]
