Tim Gordon was an actor and a stand-in whose work was primarily seen in the 1960s Gothic soap opera Dark Shadows, which aired on ABC from 1966-1971. Most of Tim's contributions to the series came in the form of being a hand model as well as other minor bit roles. His first work on the show was episode 24, where he played a customer at the Collinsport Inn. He didn't appear again until episode 210 where he was the hand of vampire Barnabas Collins in the character's debut. The roll of Barnabas was normally played by Canadian actor Jonathan Frid. He also played the ghost of Jeremiah Collins in eight episodes between 1967 and 1968. Tim cracked his knuckles and did some more hand work as the Hand of Count Petofi during the "1897 Flashback" story-arc in 1969. He also played a witness to an execution in episodes 460-461, an 18th century servant named Riggs in episode 410, another disembodied hand in episode 445 and a minister in episode 617.
