Security Chief is a title given to managers of a security bureau of department. Security chiefs may be employed or contracted within a corporate entity or may belong to a member of a military unit. Generally, a Security Chief is in command of any number of security guards or other such officers.

On Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, the character of Odo holds the position of Security Chief, although his actual title is that of Chief Constable. On Babylon 5, the Security Chief of the Babylon 5 station is Zack Allan.
