The Client American television series of the legal drama genre. It is based on the 1993 novel The Client by author John Grisham, which in turn, was made into a feature film in 1994 . The TV show was produced by Warner Bros. Television and aired on CBS for a single season from September , 1995 to April , 1996 , spanning a total of twenty-one episodes. The show starred JoBeth Williams in the role of lawyer Reggie Love with Polly Holliday playing Momma Love. John Heard played the part of Roy Foltrigg with Ossie Davis as Judge Harry Roosevelt and David Barry Gray as Clint.
