Apollo is a fictional military officer featured in the original Battlestar Galactica television series that aired on ABC from 1978 to 1979. He was one of the main characters from the show and played by actor Richard Hatch. He was introduced in the three-part pilot episode, "Saga of a Star World (Part 1)", and was credited in all twenty-four episodes of the series.
Overview
Apollo was a Colonial Warrior who hailed from the planet Caprica. He was the son of Commander Adama and had two younger siblings: a brother named Zak and a sister named Athena. Apollo was a pilot in the Colonial fleet, holding the rank of Captain.
