Wonderbug is an American live-action children's series that aired on Saturday mornings from 1976 to 1977. It was part of the Krofft Supershow and aired in twenty-two 15-minute installments. The show was created by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears and starred David Levy as Barry Buntrock, Carol Anne Seflinger as Susan Talbot, and Jack Baker as C.C. McNamara. The real star of the series however was voice actor Frank Welker, who was the sound behind the wheel of Schlepcar - a rusty green dune buggy that could turn into a red flying superhero car with lips known as Wonderbug.

- The series was set in California as evidenced by Schlepcar's personalized license plate, "SCHLEP".
- The episode "Schleppenstein" was featured on a View Master reel as part of the Krofft Supershow series assortment.
- There are six episodes of the series with titles that are some variation of the name Schlepcar.
- Ideal Toy Company published a board game in 1977.
- Aladdin Industries produced a metal lunchbox in 1976.
- There was also a Wonderbug coloring book.
- Actor David Levy would eventually become a psychologist and a professor of psychology at Pepperdine University.
- David Levy received an Emmy nomination in 1977 for his work on Wonderbug.
