The show was created by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears and starred David Levy as Barry Buntrock, Carol Anne Seflinger as Susan Talbot, and Jack Baker as C.C. McNamara. The real star of the series however was voice actor Frank Welker, who was the sound behind the wheel of Schlepcar - a rusty green dune buggy that could turn into a red flying superhero car with lips known as Wonderbug.
