Theodore Collins is a fictional character and a member of the Collins family featured in the 1960s ABC Gothic soap opera Dark Shadows. The character has never made an appearance and has only been referenced in the series.
Theodore Collins was one of the earliest members of the American branch of the Collins family of Collinsport, Maine. It is possible that this is the same Theodore Collins who was the husband of Constance Collins and gave birth to Millicent Collins and Daniel Collins in the late 18th century. Other sources indicate that he is their grandfather. If this is so, then Theodore is one of the direct ancestors of the current Collins family line. At some point in the family history, this branch of the Collins' lived in New York.
A portrait of Theodore Collins hangs in the drawing room at Collinwood the wall adjacent to the foyer, which is the one closest to the portrait of Jeremiah Collins.
Notes
- The other portraits that hang in the drawing room at Collinwood include Jeremiah Collins, Isaac Collins and Benjamin Collins.
