Thanagarians are an alien race that hail from the planet Thanagar. They most famous members of this race are Katar Hol, also known as Hawkman, and Shayera Thal, aka Hawkgirl. Hawkman made regular appearances on the Super Friends family of cartoon programs during the 1970s, while Hawkgirl was a character who was regularly featured on Justice League Unlimited.
