Sweet Valley High is an American television series of the teen drama subgenre. It is based on the series of popular young adult novels by Francine Pascal. The series was created by Josh Goldstein and produced by Saban International and ran for four seasons totalling eighty-eight episodes. The show was originally broadcast on the FOX Network, but season four aired on UPN. The series starred twin sisters Brittany and Cynthia Daniel as Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield. Other stars on the show included Amy Danles, Shirlee Elliot, Jeremy Vincent Garrett, Tyffany Hayes, Michael Perl, Manley Pope, Harley Rodriguez, Ryan James Bittle and Andrea Savage.
Premise
The series revolves around the lives of Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield, beautiful blonde twins who live in the fictitious Sweet Valley, California, and their gang of friends. Elizabeth is warm, friendly and sincere, while her twin sister Jessica is flirty, mischievous, and irresponsible.
