"Supes" is a term used in The Boys multimedia franchise. It is short for super-hero and refers to any individual who either wears a costume, bears some form of superhuman ability or both. The term also applies to villainous characters as well, though truth be known... even the "good" guys in this reality aren't really all that good. Supes first appeared in The Boys #1 in October, 2006. On the TV series, they first appeared in the series premiere, "The Name of the Game".
