A stripper is someone who takes their clothes off for a living. They usually work in stripper bars or "gentleman clubs", but may also perform their talents for private affairs. Many of them will tell you that they do it in order to pay for college. Few believe this. Female strippers like to entice male customers by working the pole (and no that's not a fancy euphemism for anything, though I suppose it applies just the same). Male strippers generally dress themselves up in professional attire such as police officers or construction workers, which usually includes tear-away pants. For a little extra, a fella might also get himself treated to a lap dance.
