Starman is an American science fiction television series and a spin-off of the 1984 John Carpenter film Starman. The show was produced by Henerson/Hirsch Productions and aired on ABC for a single season from September 19th, 1986 to May 2nd, 1987, spanning a total of twenty-two episodes.
The series stars Robert Hays as the alien from the first film (originally played by Jeff Bridges), who now assumes the identity of a man named Paul Forrester. Christopher Daniel Barnes plays his son, Scott Hayden, Jr., with Michael Cavanaugh rounding out the main cast as George Fox.
