Space: 1999 is a British science fiction television program that aired in syndication from 1975 to 1978. It spanned two seasons and a total of 48 episodes, as well as several compilation telemovies. The series was created by Gerry Anderson and Sylvia Anderson and was produced by Group 3 Ltd, the Incorporated Television Company and Radiotelevisione Italiana. The series starred Martin Landau as Commander John Koenig, Barbara Bain as Doctor Helena Russell, and Barry Morse as Professor Victor Bergman.
