Slasher is a Canadian television series of the horror genre. It is a seasonal anthology series, which is to say that each season is a self-contained storyline that has no connection to other seasons. The show was created by Aaron Martin and originally produced by the Super Channel network. It aired in the United States on Chiller before being acquired by Netflix. Season one of the show ran for eight episodes from March-April, 2016 and carried the subtitle "The Executioner". Season two premiered on Netflix's instant streaming video service on October 17th, 2017 and was labeled as "Guilty Party". It was announced that season three would drop in 2019.
