Ralph Bohner is a fictional actor and a supporting character featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is associated with the WandaVision television series on Disney+ and first appeared in episode 1x05, "On a Very Special Episode..." on February 5th, 2021. He was played by actor Evan Peters in the series.
Biography
Ralph Bohner was an actor who lived in Westview, New Jersey. When Wanda Maximoff suffered a mental breakdown following the destruction of the Vision, she used chaos magic to erect a mystic barrier around Westview that came to be known as the Hex. She brainwashed its residents into becoming fictionalized personifications of characters one might see in a classic television sitcom. Unbeknownst to Wanda, her actions attracted the attention of a powerful 17th century witch named Agatha Harkness. Agatha coveted Wanda's power, and used her own magic to manipulate Ralph into believing that he was her husband. Agatha herself assumed the alias of a "nosy neighbor" named Agnes. She maintained control over him by way of an enchanted necklace that she forced Ralph to wear.
Aware that Wanda could be manipulated through her own guilt and painful past, Agatha repurposed Ralph to become the resurrected effigy of Wanda's late brother, Pietro Maximoff, who died in Sokovia several years earlier. She even gifted "Pietro" with super-speed, which was a power that the original Pietro possessed. The "recast" Pietro insinuated himself into Wanda's fake lifestyle inside the Hex and took on the role of the dopey brother, and the "cool" uncle to Wanda's children, Billy and Tommy.
Wanda eventually learned the truth about Agatha and embraced the chaos magic within her, which erupted into a massive mystical battle between Agatha and she. Wanda proved victorious, and she ultimately tore down the Hex and released its residents from the power that governed their substitute personalities. S.W.O.R.D. agent Monica Rambeau found Ralph and removed the enchanted necklace from him, restoring his true personality. [6]

- Actor Evan Peters previously played Pietro Maximoff in the X-Men film series. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Pietro Maximoff was played by actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson. At the time of the character's introduction, fans speculated as to whether this was supposed to be the same version of Pietro from the X-Men film series.
- Actors Evan Peters and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who have both played variations of the Quicksilver character, also appeared together in the 2010 super-hero film Kick-Ass.
