Peter Hyams is an American film director, writer and composer born in New York City, New York on July 26th, 1943. His first credited work was the 1972 television movie Rolling Man. That same year, Hyams also directed the telemovie Goodnight, My Love. In 1985, he directed "The Amazing Falsworth" episode of Amazing Stories. In 2005, he directed the "Trees Made of Glass (Part 2)" episode of Threshold.
