Peter Winkler Berg is an American actor, director, writer, and producer. He was born in New York City, New York on March 11th, 1964. Peter is the creator of the NBC drama series Friday Night Lights, which was based on the 2004 feature film of the same name, which in turn was based on the non-fiction novel Friday Night Lights by H.G. Bissinger.
