Nicholas Brendon Schultz is an American actor born in Los Angeles, California on April 12th, 1971. He is best known for playing the role of nerdy chum Alexander "Xander" Harris on the popular television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Brendon appeared in all 145 episodes of the series and also provided the voice for the character in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer video game and its sequel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds. He also provided the voice for Xander Harris in the undeveloped Buffy the Vampire Slayer animated series.
From 2005 to 2006, Brendon had the lead role of Seth Richman in the FOX Network comedy series Kitchen Confidential, which was set in modern day New York City. Nicholas appeared in all thirteen episodes of the show.

- Has a twin brother named Kelly Donovan. The two are often mistaken for one another and Kelly has occasionally served as Nicholas' stand-in on Buffy.
- Brendon is a spokesperson for the Stuttering Foundation of America, appearing in a print campaign for the organization. [1]
- Nicholas Brendon and actor Anthony Stewart Head are the only main credited stars of Buffy the Vampire Slayer who did not make guest appearances on the spin-off series Angel.
- Nicholas Brendon was arrested on a felony vandalism charge on March 17th, 2010. He checked himself into an alcohol rehabilitation center soon afterward. [2]
- Nicholas Brendon was born on the same day as actress Shannen Doherty from the WB Network television series Charmed. Charmed and Buffy the Vampire Slayer shared many of the same thematic elements and catered to a similar viewer demographic.
Other works
- Outside of television, Nicholas played the role of Starcat in the 2000 horror-comedy Psycho Beach Party. He then went on to play Kyle in Demon Island and Lucas in 2007's Unholy. On both films Brendon also served as an associate producer. In 2010, he played the role of Paul in the movie The Portal.
