Nerri is a fictional alien character featured in the US/Australian science fiction television series Farscape. Played by actor Simon Bossell, he appeared in the season two episode, "A Clockwork Nebari".
Biography
Nerri and Chiana wanted to escape Nebari Prime from a young age, and were given exit visas by the Nebari government as well as a free medical consultation. During the visit, someone within the Nebari Establishment surrepticiously infected Nerri with a contagion that simulated the effects of a sexually transmitted disease. At the time, they didn't question why leaving Nebari Prime had been so easy. They simply saw an opportunity and took it.
For the next two cycles, Nerri and Chiana explored the Uncharted Territories. Nerri kept a close eye on keeping Chiana safe, though neither of them were aware of the disease that lied dormant within his bloodstream.
Nerri eventually learned the truth about the virus when he made contact with a dissident in the Nebari government. A member of the Establishment gave him an antibody, which flushed a contagion from his system. Nerri elected to remain behind to join the resistance movement that been forming in opposition to the Establishment. He wanted Chiana to have no part in what he was becoming involved in and encouraged her to part company with him. He eventually became the leader of the movement and was last seen leading an attack against a Nebari Establishment freight convoy.
