Kanto is a fictional alien arms dealer and a minor antagonist featured on the superhero fantasy cartoon program Superman: The Animated Series. He first appeared in the twelfth episode of season one, "Tools of the Trade", where he was voiced by actor Michael York.
Biography
Kanto was a humanoid alien from the planet Apokolips. He served as part of the Elite under the planet's ruler, Darkseid. Kanto was the one who served as the liasion between Darkseid's forces, and the criminal cartel from Earth known as Intergang. Kanto supplied Intergang and its leader, Bruno Mannheim with hi-tech weapons to used in their ongoing conflicts against the Metropolis Special Crimes Unit and Superman.
