Goof Troop is an animated television program of the children's comedy genre. It is based on the character of Goofy as popularized in many Walt Disney film shorts. The series was produced by Walt Disney Television Animation and aired in syndication and on the Disney Channel beginning in September, 1992. The second and final season of the show aired on ABC. There were seventy-nine episodes of the program produced in total, as well as two feature films.
