Overview
Elizabeth Matheson was the wife of retired Queen's Guard Henry Matheson and the mother of university scholar Ian Matheson. She co-owned a bed and breakfast with her husband not far from the school where Ian worked. In 1990, Elizabeth's sister Gertie of Lechmoor Heath was brutally murdered under mysterious circumstances and she traveled to the village to attend Gertie's funeral.
