Biography

Deeda was a princess and a member of a race of Amazons that hailed from a domed city in the far future. The symbol of power for her people was a magic scepter. Her evil cousin, Kyra, stole the scepter and usurped her power, declaring herself queen. Deeda was exiled into the time stream. To consolidate her power, it was decided that the Amazons had to travel into the distant past to find champions to participate in gladiatorial combat. Kyra and her underlings, Tarla and Orkla traveled to the 20th century to procure such a specimen. Deeda followed them, but she did not share their ambitions, but instead hoped to find a way to defeat them.

The Amazons used magic and a special head band to take control of humans in the Pacific Northwest. They captured a lumberjack named Bert and mind-controlled him into doing their bidding. Queen Kyra however, quickly decided on a new champion, when she learned of the hairy giant known as Bigfoot.

Princess Deeda employed the aide of Bigfoot's partner, Wildboy, and their mutual friend Susie. Queen Kyra managed to gain control over Bigfoot, but Susie ran up to her, and succeeded in snatching the magic scepter away. Princess Deeda recovered the scepter and resumed her rightful place as queen. Kyra, Tarla, and Orkla were powerless to do anything. Thanking her new friends for aiding her in stopping Kyra, Queen Deeda returned to her future reality with the Amazon traitors where they would be imprisoned.
