Cincinnati is a city located in Hamilton County in the state of Ohio. Sometimes referred to as "The Queen City", it is the third largest city in the state and borders the Ohio River. Cincinnati was first settled in 1788 and incorporated into a city in 1819. It's total land area is 79.6 square miles and it has a population of more than 290,000 people.

Cincinnati is the primary setting of the 1970s sitcom series WKRP in Cincinnati, which involved the foibles and pitfalls of a small crew working for a Top 40 radio station. The main characters featured on the series include, Andy Travis, Arthur Carlson, Doctor Johnny Fever, Les Nessman, Jennifer Marlowe, Herb Tarlek, Venus Flytrap and Bailey Quarters.

Academy-award winning film director and producer Steven Allan Spielberg - considered by many to be one of the most influential and pioneering film makers of all time was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 18th, 1946 to Arnold Spielberg and Leah Adler. In addition to his more well-known film works, Spielberg is also the creator of the 1980s anthology series Amazing Stories and executive producer on the sci-fi series Falling Skies.

Late soap opera star Joel Crothers was born in Cincinnati on January 28th, 1941. He appeared in several notable daytime soaps including Dark Shadows, The Edge of Night and Santa Barbara.
