Chartham is a fictional telepath featured in the Ultraman multimedia franchise. She is associated with the original Ultraman television series by Tsuburaya Productions and appeared in episode 1x07, "The Blue Stone of Baradhi". She was played by actress Keiko Yumi on the show.
Biography
Chartham was the community leader of a mysterious forgotten city called Baradhi, located in the Middle East, not too far from Turkey. As per the lineage of all of Baradhi's leaders, Chartham was a telepath and could read the minds of others. When the Science Special Search Party arrived to investigate electromagnetic phenomena, Chartham brought them to a temple of their god, Noah, whose image greatly resembled that of the extraterrestrial hero, Ultraman. The Science Special Party helped to defend Baradhi against the threat of the giant insectoid monster known as Antlar.
