Chance Harbor is a fictional town featured in the Secret Circle television series. It is based on the equally fictional New Salem - the primary setting of the 1992 L.J. Smith novel Secret Circle: The Initiation. The town was introduced in the pilot episode of the show, and was the provincial setting for the entire series.
