Bajorans are an extraterrestrial race featured in the Star Trek multimedia franchise. They are most commonly associated with the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, which ran in syndication for seven seasons from 1993 to 1999. The most notable member of the Bajoran race is Major Kira Nerys, who was one of the main cast members on the series. Another Bajoran of note is Leeta, who was a Dabo girl at Quark's aboard the Deep Space Nine station. In addition to the TV series, Bajorans have also played major roles in several of the related spin-off projects including novels, comic books and video games.
