Arrested Development is an American comedy series created by Mitchell Hurwitz. It originally ran for three seasons on the FOX Network between 2003 and 2006, totalling fifty-three episodes. The series was relaunched in 2013 as a web exclusive program available on Netflix instant streaming video. The show was produced by Imagine Television and 20th Century Fox Television and starred Jason Bateman, Portia de Rossi, Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Alia Shawkat, Tony Hale, Jessica Walter and Jeffrey Tambo as members of the Bluth family - a well-to-do dysfunctional group who are saddled with the task of recouping their financial losses and saving face in the wake of George Bluth, Sr.'s white collar crime and subsequent arrest.
