Anthony Simcoe is an Australian film and television actor born on June 7th, 1969. Simcoe's first professional television work was playing a character named Peter Page in the two-part "Stolen Moments" episode of the Australian drama series A Country Practice. His first work in the science fiction genre was playing Aede, a liberator leader in the 1998 cyborg telemovie Chameleon.
Anthony Simcoe is best known for playing the role of alien Luxan warrior Ka D'Argo in the sci-fi television series Farscape, which aired for four seasons on the Sci-Fi Channel from 1999 to 2003. Simcoe appeared in all 88 episodes of the show. In addition to playing D'Argo, he also played the female alien Chiana in a body-swapping episode called "Out of Their Minds". In the season two episode, "Won't Get Fooled Again", he played a figment of John Crichton's imagination called Gary Ragell. Following the cancellation of the series, Anthony Simcoe reprised the role of D'Argo in the two-part 2004 miniseries Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars.
