Andy Trudeau was a fictional police detective and a supporting character on the WB Network television series Charmed. The character was first introduced in the original unaired pilot of the series where he was played by actor Chris Boyd. Boyd was replaced by T.W. King, who played Andy throughout the duration of his time on the series beginning with the first episode "Something Wicca This Way Comes". He appeared in every episode of season one before the character was killed off in the season finale "Déjà Vu All Over Again". Andy Trudeau was portrayed as an ambitious police detective and a friend of the Halliwell sisters. A life-long friend and occassional love interest to Prudence Halliwell, Andy was a strong believer in the occult and strived to protect the Charmed Ones against those who would seek to do them harm.
