Overview

Andy Goode was a computer expert and software engineer. He once worked for Cyberdyne Systems, but then went off to become the manager of an electronics store. Andy was responsible for the creation of a device which he called The Turk - a very sophisticated computer system that bordered on artificial intelligence.

Sarah Connor learned about Andy and his affiliation with Cyberdyne from Terissa Dyson. Tracking him down, she pretended to a customer at the store where he worked, but it was actually Andy himself who initiated a conversation with her. Andy asked Sarah out on a date. At first she turned him down, but upon reflecting upon how she could turn this to her advantage, decided to give him a shot. Sarah's true concern was that the Turk might be a stepping stone in the road towards the development of Skynet. [3]
