Series Seven
Amy returned to modeling, awaiting the day when she could finalize her divorce from Rory. On the day that Rory came with the necessary papers, both Amy and he were captured by Dalek puppets and brought before the Parliament of the Daleks, along with the Doctor, so they could use them as leverage to force the Doctor to do their bidding. They required the Doctor and his companions to teleport down to the Dalek Asylum world and shut off the force field generator, which would enable the Daleks to destroy the planet, preventing any insane Daleks incarcerated on the planet from escaping. All three of them were fitted with special wristlets to protect them from being infected with the planet's nanotechnology atmosphere, which would convert them into cybernetic puppets. They found the crew of the Starliner Alaska, whom had crash-landed on the planet and been infected with the nanotechnology - even the corpses. While trying to escape, Amy's wristlet came off, and she was now exposed to the nanoweb. The first phase of the conversion process involved the removal of all sense of love and compassion. To save her life, the Doctor gave up his own wristlet, hoping that his Gallifreyan biology would make him immune to the process, which it did. The Doctor succeeded in his mission, and Amy and Rory were taken home safely. During this affair, Amy broke down and confessed to Rory that the reason she drove him away was because she could not bear him children, and give him the family that he so strongly wanted. [1]
