Alexa is a fictional high school student and a minor character from the Canadian anthology series Creeped Out. Played by actress Imogen Tear, she was the main character in the eighth episode of season two, "Takedown".
Biography
Alexa was a Canadian teenager who grew up in northern Canada in the late 2010s. When her mother was still pregnant with her, her father Bruce jokingly made a wish upon a chain letter, expressing his desire to have a little girl. As luck turned out, his wish came true.
In 2019, Alexa attended class at Herald High School where she became the only female member of the Wolves wrestling team. Her best friend Lucky was a male cheerleader for the team. Alexa received a mysterious text from someone identified as “IAmTrUdI”, who told her it would grant her greatest desire, but to accomplish this, it would involve stealing it from someone else. Alexa wished for greater strength so that she could compete in the regionals wrestling team. “IAmTrUdI” granted her wish, but it seemingly sapped the strength of her teammate and rival Lincoln McDonald.
During the elimination match against Lincoln, Alexi discovered that Lincoln was not affected by the chain text wish, but rather had just fallen ill. Moreover, he too engaged with “IAmTrUdI” and wished for Alexi's technique and style. With that, he was able to outsmart her, and defeat her in the elimination match.
Just then, Lucky entered the school gymnasium looking very pale and weak. He collapsed to the floor and Alexa realized that her friend's health was the price to be paid for her increased strength. She frantically texted “IAmTrUdI” demanding to cancel her wish. “IAmTrUdI” complied, but warned her that it would not only undo the affects of her wish, but also all those that came before her on the chain. Alexi didn't care and insisted that the affect be undone.
To her horror, Alexi soon found out that the chain text that she had engaged with was connected with the same one that her father responded to all those years earlier when he wished for a baby girl. With the chain broken, Alexi transformed into a boy.
Abilities
Powers
- None: Alexa is by all accounts a normal human being with no superhuman abilities to speak of.
Former powers
- Enhanced strength: Due to the chain text wish, Alexa developed a strength level approximately twice that of her normal strength. This attribute disappeared after Alexi broke the chain link.
Skills
- Wrestling: Alexa was very proficient at collegiate level wrestling, which is to say, she was a skilled technical competitor who could probably compete in the Olympics, but wasn't good enough to participate in an episode of WWE Monday Night Raw.
Notes & Trivia
- The character of Alexa was created by director Bruce McDonald and writer Emma Campbell.
