Action is an American sitcom that aired for only one season from 1999 to 2000. It was produced by 20th Century Fox Television, Silver Pictures Television and Columbia TriStar Television. The series was created by Chris Thompson and showrunner Don Reo and starred Jay Mohr, Illeana Douglas, Jarrad Paul, Jack Plotnick and Buddy Hackett. Although thirteen episodes were produced for the first season, the network pulled the series due to poor ratings after airing only nine episodes. All thirteen episodes have been made available on the Action: The Complete Series DVD collection.
